Q and A: MVP Advice on Keeping Your Marriage Strong

Q: My husband and I have been married now for five years. We have two great little ones and both of us work pretty much full time. Do you have any advice on how to spice up the marriage since we rarely get our own time together anymore? Emily

A: I have an awesome exercise for you Emily. Simply type out the following questions and give them to your husband to answer. Best to either write down the responses or type them up so both of you can always go back to them when necessary. I recommend both of you complete the questions separately and then plan a date night to go over the responses face to face. The idea is to facilitate a healhty discussion on how to make improvements in your marriage. This is meant to be fun, positive and growth-oriented so both of you keep that in mind when the other is offering constructive, honest feedback. Enjoy the exercise, and feel free to email me with your experiences.
